Fountaingrove Dentistry

Our Services

General Dentistry

Fountaingrove dentistry is dedicated to helping our patients care for all their dental needs. General dentistry services include: routine exams and cleanings; periodontal treatment; digital x-rays with lower radiation exposure and a clear image; sealants; dental fillings and crowns to repair damaged teeth; root canal therapy and fixed and removable tooth replacement options. So whatever your needs are, Fountaingrove dentistry is the right place for your smile.

Cosmetic Bonding

Bonding can be used as a restorative procedure for teeth that are chipped, cracked, discolored or misarranged, and is an alternative to veneers.

The bonding procedure can often be completed in a single office visit, and can improve the appearance of a tooth significantly. However, since the plastic resin used is not as strong as your natural tooth enamel, it is more likely to stain, chip or break than natural teeth. Bonding typically lasts three to five years before repair is needed.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of ceramic that bond directly to the front and top surfaces of the teeth. They are sometimes referred to as Partial Veneer Crowns. They are an ideal choice for improving your smile and have become increasingly popular due to their simplicity and versatility. With veneers as an alternative, there is no reason to put up with gaps between your teeth, teeth that are stained, badly shaped or crooked. A veneer placed on top of your teeth can correct these maladies simply and quickly, to help you achieve a beautiful smile!

Dental Implants

Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. The implants themselves are tiny titanium posts that are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration that occurs when teeth are missing.

Conscious Sedation

For those patients that are fearful and anxious about their dental treatment Dr. Erlach, Dr. Didier and Dr. Anderson and staff provide conscious sedation. Through the choice of the proper medication suited for you, you can be sedated to a point where the dental procedure will no longer be a threat. You will not be unconscious and you will be medically monitored throughout the procedure.

CEREC

The CEREC Acquisition Unit is mobile and houses a medical-grade computer and the CEREC camera. Your dentist uses the camera to take a digital picture of your prepared tooth. This picture is used instead of a traditional impression. This means no impression tray and material for you to gag on. The computer and CEREC 3D software converts the digital picture to a three dimensional virtual model of your prepped tooth. Your dentist then designs your restoration right on screen using the software while you wait (and watch!). This software can assist your dentist with designing any single tooth restoration: crowns, inlays (fillings), onlays (partial crowns), and veneers. Once your dentist has designed your restoration (usually about 5 minutes), he or she clicks a button, and the design data is communicated via a wireless radio signal to the CEREC Milling Unit.
